General terms and conditions of order:

1. Germanica Sp. z o. o., hereinafter called the Company executes translation and interpreting services pursuant to the terms and conditions hereof and the rules and regulations of The TEPIS Code.
2. The current pricelist of the Company services forms an Annex hereto.
3. All translation and interpreting services are executed by the Company only upon receiving from a customer a written service order. The service order form can be downloaded from the Company's website. The order form shall be signed by a duly authorized person.
4. All documents and auxiliary materials, except for publicly available publications (newspapers and internet, laws, etc) entrusted by a Customer, and the content of meeting interpreted by interpreters are treated as confidential and they are not available to any third party.
5. The Company may provide the confidentiality clause, if a Customer wishes so/ seems fit, and the confidentiality clause signed by all translators, interpreters, and the Company employees who work on this order.
6. For Customer settlement reasons the number of translation pages is calculated according to the following rules:
   1. Conversion unit of ordinary translation is one word, minimum order: 100 words;
   2. Conversion unit of certified translation is one word, minimum order: 168 words;
7. For Customer settlement reasons the number of interpreting hours is calculated according to the following rules:
   1. Every started hour of interpreting is counted;
   2. Minimum order: 2 hours.
8. Ordinary orders, without stating the execution time in the order form, are delivered to a Customer up to 3:00 pm on the execution day, unless agreed otherwise.
9. The orders executed during one working day and requiring a translator to work after working hours (working days after 5 pm, nights, weekends, holidays) are treated as express orders.
10. The translation price does not include the preparation for publishing as well as the copyright fee. The preparation for publishing requires additional verification, which can be carried out at a Customer's request for a supplementary payment. The service price amounts to 50% of the order value. The copyright fee amounts to 50% of the order value and is paid by the Customer.
11. If a Customer cancels the order during its execution, a Customer shall pay for the work actually carried out until the moment of order cancellation. Using in any way the translation executed by the Company, including passing it or making available for any third party before settling the payment is considered to be the proof of accepting the translation without any qualifications.
12. Any complaints connected with discount demand must be filed in writing within thirty (30) days from the order execution date and include a detailed list of mistakes which are the object of complaint .
13. The material liability for any damage connected with the translation executed by the Company is limited to the amount of net payment (without VAT) due for the translation, with the exception of other situations defined in an agreement.
14. The Company liability for damages does not include any mistakes in express translations. A Customer ordering an express translation shall take a risk regarding mistakes in the translation. However, the Company shall immediately correct any such mistakes if a Customer complains.
15. The translation copyright is transferred to a Customer upon paying the full amount due on the basis of an invoice issued by the Company.
16. The interpreter's working time is calculated from the time he or she was required to arrive at work, until the time the interpreter is dismissed, and includes all possible breaks/pauses(e.g. meals, meeting breaks, car drives with a Customer, etc.)
17. Not using the interpreter's services does not release a Customer from the payment for the interpreter's work.
18. If a Customer cancels the order on the day of service execution, a Customer shall pay the minimum order amount. If a Customer cancels the order on day preceding the service execution day, he or she does not incur any costs. If the interpreting is executed in Wrocław the interpreter's transport is free. In case of interpreting outside Wrocław a Customer is responsible for organizing the transport for the interpreter and shall bear the costs of transport, meals and accommodation.
19. The payment for interpreting on bank holidays or at night (from 10 pm to 6 am) amounts to double rate. Interpreting on Saturday is charged 50% more than the usual rate.
20. Customers who use the Company services shall not contact directly any interpreters working for the Company for twelve (12) months from the date of the last order.
